Possio PX30 WLAN / Bluetooth / GPRS / 3G Wireless Router

Possio PX30 WLAN / Bluetooth / GPRS / 3G Wireless Router
The Possio PX30 combines the functionality of the earlier Possio PX20 and adds built-in Bluetooth network capability and a USB connection. By joining the wireless de-facto standards Bluetooth and WLAN (802.11b)—and combining those with an OSGi (Open Services Gateway initiative) compliant Java applications server—we have designed a system that meets the demands of all existing and future wireless environments. Industrial locations, Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISP), corporate business, small offices and homes will benefit from new wireless applications. Low cost for high bandwidth in mobile networks, a cost efficient and highly flexible solution for network enhancement and network deployment.
The PX30 is a wireless 3g Router. It is a device that is used in a remote/mobile environment for networked data connections.

The Possio PX30 supports Wireless LAN, Bluetooth. It connects to the Internet via UMTS as well as GPRS/GSM* and Ethernet connectivity and can act as a client server to the main server back at HQ. In other words, laptops or desktop computers in a vehicle, a portacabin or even a boat (that have Wireless LAN cards in them) can access the Internet, e-mail and even connect to their company servers via VPN. The user can therefore work as an employee as efficiently as they can at HQ, with access to all of the same company information.

So imagine a member of staff being driven to a meeting. They can work in the back of a car as if they were in their office. Any computer based transaction they could perform at their desk they could perform anywhere else. Their computers communicate using Wireless LAN with the PX30 that in turn communicates with the main server back at HQ using 3g-network technology, at broadband like speeds.

This allows true-networked data connectivity in a remote or mobile environment. After the initial configuration, this solution is flexible in that the user can carry their networked system from location to location without the problems of installation costs and delays.

Thanks to the Possio PX30 3G router Limousine and Coaches Companies who market or wish to market to TOP business clients can now offer an exclusive service in their Vehicles via allowing every client on Board to go ON LINE within seconds and WITHOUT the need of any configuration to be applied on their Laptops or PDA’s. This product is so new only one company manufactures it.
